New member appointed to the Consumer Panel

On 1 May 2018 Francis McGee begins his three-year term as a member of the independent Financial Services Consumer Panel.

Francis has a career spanning over 20 years in government, regulation and the financial services industry, and was most recently Director of External Affairs at StepChange Debt Charity.

Panel Chair, Sue Lewis, said “I am delighted to welcome Francis to the Panel. He brings valuable experience and knowledge of how financial services policy and regulation can affect individual consumers and small businesses. I look forward to working with him”.

Francis has been appointed following the departure of Liz Barclay, who left the Panel at the end of March 2018.
